International Day of Forests
Social Media Library March 21 marks the International Day of Forests. This year, the United Nations highlights the theme “Forests and Economies,” emphasizing the vital role forests play in driving economic prosperity. At SCGP, we have continuously advanced sustainable forest plantation development—transforming forests into a strong foundation that supports both ecosystems and livelihoods. SCGP is committed to creating economic opportunities for farmers and communities by promoting commercial forestry across the entire value chain. Through a systematic approach, in 2025 we achieved 100% certification of international forest management standards across 46 companies in Thailand and overseas with products related to forest-based resources*. Our certified plantation area exceeds 55,369 rai*, with over 6,212 rai—or 11.2%*—dedicated to biodiversity conservation (Nature Positive). In addition, our plantations sequester up to 308,949 tCO₂e** of carbon emissions. These achievements reflect SCGP’s readiness to serve as a Sustainability Partner—supporting our business partners in meeting environmental regulations, enhancing global competitiveness, and building confidence among consumers, while delivering sustainable value together. * Sustainability Report 2025, pages 50–53** Sustainability Report 2025, page 80 #SCGP #SCGPESG #ESG #Carbonfootprint #Sustainable #packagingsolutions #sustainablepackaging #SCGPackaging #InternationalDayofForests #NaturePositive #FSCCertified Back to เนื้อหาที่เกี่ยวข้อง Loading…

India Expansion
Social Media Library India is a market full of growth potential, with GDP expanding at 6–7%¹ per year and a population base of over 1.4 billion people¹. The packaging market in India is valued at USD 80 billion², with continued growth opportunities of 8–10% annually, particularly in consumer-related sectors such as food, beverages, and e-commerce, which are expanding in line with the modern lifestyles of Indian consumers. Amid these opportunities, SCGP is advancing its presence by establishing a Sales Representative Office in India to strengthen access to the South Asian market. The office will support multinational corporations (MNCs) and business partners with manufacturing bases in India, enabling them to access international-standard packaging solutions more efficiently while reducing logistical and distance constraints. Currently, the company’s exports to India account for 3% of total exports, highlighting a market with significant room for further expansion. This investment therefore marks an important step aligned with the company’s long-term strategy, encompassing both the development of partnership networks and the exploration of future investment opportunities. It also prepares the company for high-quality business expansion alongside global partners, while continuing to drive packaging solutions that address both economic value and sustainability. Mono material packaging
Social Media Library SCGP continues to advance mono material packaging to meet evolving customer needs—now introducing a chemical-resistant series designed for high-performance cleaning and chemical products. What began with R1+ for retort food and wet pet food has now evolved into a broader mono material solution for chemical products, starting with floor cleaners and extendable to other liquid formulations including dishwashing and laundry care products. Built for durability, leak protection, and compatibility with auto-pack systems, this solution delivers strong chemical resistance while improving recyclability through a simplified mono-material structure. Another step in SCGP’s ongoing journey to design packaging that responds to real market needs—where functionality and sustainability move forward together. #SCGP #Innovation #SCGPINNO #MonoMaterial #CircularEconomy Back to เนื้อหาที่เกี่ยวข้อง Loading…
CFP and CFR
Social Media Library Packaging plays a key role in reducing the greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions of products. A product’s carbon footprint does not arise from the product alone; rather, greenhouse gas emissions are generated across the entire life cycle – from raw material sourcing through manufacturing, packaging, transportation, usage, and end-of-life management. This makes packaging a critical contributor to greenhouse gas emissions throughout the product life cycle. As SCGP advances toward Net Zero, we continuously reduce emissions across our operations — from raw materials and energy use to environmentally friendly product development. This approach enables us to systematically develop carbon footprint data for packaging, allowing customers to apply this data directly to their Scope 3 greenhouse gas emissions and the carbon footprint of their products. Many SCGP products are certified with Carbon Footprint of Products (CFP) and have been further improved to achieve Carbon Footprint Reduction (CFR), officially registered by the Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (TGO). These certifications provide verifiable evidence of carbon footprint of products. This turns packaging into a practical tool for ESG reporting and sustainability communication — and increasingly, a key consideration for international markets. Evolving environmental regulations in Europe and rising green procurement standards are making carbon footprint data an essential part of global trade. Today, SCGP has 279 CFP-certified and 145 CFR-registered products in Thailand, covering pulp, paper, copy paper, foodservice packaging, packaging paper, and plastic packaging. This goes beyond materials. It provides carbon footprint data that customers can apply across their value chain. This is how SCGP supports customers as a Sustainability Partner in moving toward a more sustainable future. #SCGP #SCGPESG #ESG #Carbonfootprint #Sustainable #packagingsolutions #sustainablepackaging #SCGPackaging Back to เนื้อหาที่เกี่ยวข้อง Loading…
