By 2025, our total installed solar capacity will reach 75.8 MWp, covering Solar Rooftop, Solar Farm, and Solar Floating systems. These initiatives help reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 9,330 tons of CO₂ equivalent per year. 🌴 Biomass EnergyWe actively research and develop biomass energy from agricultural residues such as sugarcane leaves, coconut fiber, palm fiber, and cassava rhizomes as alternatives to fossil fuels. By 2025, increased biomass utilization will contribute to a reduction of 749,285 tons of CO₂ equivalent per year. 💦 Biogas from Anaerobic Water TreatmentSCGP utilizes biogas generated from anaerobic wastewater treatment systems as a renewable energy source for boilers and lime kilns. This approach reduces energy consumption by 565,000 gigajoules per year and cuts greenhouse gas emissions by 53,000 tons of CO₂ equivalent annually. Social Media Library 🚚 At a time when sustainability is at the heart of business, SCGP continues to think beyond operations to care for the planet by reimagining how logistics can create value while supporting recycling. This idea comes to life through “Go-Recycle by Go-Pak”, a project that turns previously empty return trips into meaningful journeys. Instead of running back empty, delivery trucks collect used corrugated cardboard (OCC) from Go-Pak customers, supermarkets, and other suppliers across the UK. These materials are then sorted at SCGP’s facilities before being recycled at SCGP’s mills in Thailand and Vietnam—maximizing transport efficiency and minimizing waste. 📦 The collected paper is recycled into new paper and products, such as components for paper cups and Go-Pak’s packaging boxes. ♻️ In 2025, the project helped return more than 7,000 tons of materials into the recycling system. By making better use of return trips and energy resources, Go-Recycle has significantly increased recycling rates and demonstrated the power of the circular economy in action. The initiative stands as a strong example of how logistics infrastructure can be leveraged to create value for both business and the environment.
