Environmental regulations in the global trade arena are becoming increasingly stringent. This is where the FSC™ (Forest Stewardship Council) standard plays a crucial role as a powerful and globally recognized international tool.

This certification mark clearly confirms that forest areas or commercial plantations are managed with the highest level of responsibility. This includes efficient, transparent, and balanced resource utilization across environmental, social, and economic dimensions.

A key highlight of FSC™ is its concrete approach to “biodiversity conservation.” The standard requires at least 10% of forest areas to be designated as dedicated conservation zones, serving as habitats for various wildlife and plant species, helping restore complete ecosystems and enabling nature to coexist sustainably with economic growth.

SCGP recognizes this importance and is committed to strictly managing eucalyptus plantations according to sustainable forest management standards. Currently, we have achieved 100% FSC™ certification across all 46 companies with products related to plantation outputs, both in Thailand and internationally*.

Additionally, SCGP has allocated over 6,212 rai (representing 11.2% of certified plantation areas)** as biodiversity and ecosystem conservation areas. Our conservation area in Kamphaeng Phet Province in Thailand, in particular, demonstrates high diversity indices, aligning with our Nature Positive approach that aims for economic growth alongside natural growth, while creating sustainable jobs and economic opportunities for communities.

This serves as confirmation that gives all customers and partners confidence that raw materials from SCGP come from transparent sources that are environmentally responsible and ready to support partners’ businesses in competing strongly on the global stage with numerous environmental regulations for the long term.
