SCGP is expanding its paper packaging business in southern Vietnam with an investment of approximately THB 748 million at the facility of Vina Kraft Paper Co., Ltd. (VKPC) in Ho Chi Minh City.

The investment is designed to capture Vietnam’s growing demand for paper packaging, which is expected to expand by approximately 7% annually, while strengthening operational synergies with VKPC and enhancing competitiveness across the supply chain.

The project will also introduce advanced automation technologies to improve production efficiency and increase the capacity for high-quality corrugated packaging by 26,800 tons per year.

This investment reflects SCGP’s strategy to expand its manufacturing network and strengthen its service capabilities to support customers’ growth in Vietnam, while reinforcing its integrated production and service network across ASEAN.

Commercial operations are expected to commence by September 2027.
