🤝 With one of its key objectives being to expand its consumer packaging business and strengthen its position in the ASEAN market, SCGP has proceeded to sign an agreement to acquire 100% of shares worth over 956 million baht in MYPAK (PT Prokemas Adhikari Kreasi), a leading paper packaging manufacturer in Indonesia.

The appeal of MYPAK lies in its strengths: it has a customer base of multinational companies and leading brands in the food, beverage, and consumer goods markets in Indonesia, and its production facility is located near SCGP’s paper packaging production base at PT Fajar Surya Wisesa Tbk. Therefore, SCGP is expected to be able to expand opportunities in the ASEAN market in the following areas:
📦 Increased opportunities for cross-selling to customer bases in the food, beverage, and consumer goods sectors, both domestically and internationally.
🏭 Enhanced technological capabilities by leveraging MYPAK’s technology, which features new and high-quality machinery, to drive production and manage costs more efficiently.
📈 Elevated competitive capabilities to support economic growth and create synergies with regional business networks, strengthening the integration of the supply chain with the paper packaging business (Value Chain Integration) for greater efficiency.

SCGP expects this deal to increase its market share in this business from 7% to 10% and anticipates it will generate at least an additional 800 million baht in revenue next year.

This investment will support the strategy of expanding the product portfolio in consumer-related packaging groups, such as food and beverage, and consumer goods, while enhancing packaging solution capabilities. It will also help elevate competitive capabilities, support economic growth, and meet the demand for packaging in Indonesia.
