SCGP receives used paper from the Department of Primary Industries and Mines through “DPIM PIMD sending recycled paper back to the society” activity, aiming to return 8,000 kilograms recycled products to the society

SCGP, represented by Mr. Soonthorn Yongvibulsiri, ESG and Sustainability Director, attends “DPIM PIMD sending recycled paper back to the society” Activity in which 1,350 kilograms of used paper from the Department of Primary Industries and Mines were taken into recycled process as a part of “80 Years of Ministry of Industry, 8,000 Kilograms of Recycling and Returning to the Society Project”. On this occasion, Mr. Nirun Yingmahisaranon, Director-General of the Department of Primary Industries and Mines and Executive of the agency witnesses the handover.

The Department of Primary Industries and Mines is one of the seven agencies under the Ministry of Industry that joins the project called 80 Years of Ministry of Industry, 8,000 Kilograms of Recycling and Returning to The Societya cooperation between the Ministry of Industry and SCGP that aims to raise awareness of waste paper separation and promote Circular Economy principles. As of May 31, 2022, the project has collected a total of 6,997 kilograms of used paper, almost reaching a target of 8,000 kilograms in July 2022. The total amount of paper collected by SCGP will be recycled, made into new products, and given to the Ministry of Industry for public use. The distribution will be conducted through the Ministry of Industry Volunteer Project.
