SCGP led by Mr. Wichan Jitpukdee, Chief Executive Officer, and Mr. Danaidej Ketsuwan, Chief Financial Officer, received two awards in “SET AWARDS 2022” held by The Stock Exchange of Thailand. The first one is Business Excellence : Best Innovative Company Awards from innovation in nanocellulose fiber for the packaging paper industry. It is an advanced biomaterial innovation that makes packaging paper stronger but lightweight. The material adds value to plant fiber and meets customers’ need to use resources sustainably. The second award is Sustainability Excellence : Best Sustainability Awards for conducting business in accordance with sustainable development principles through the investment
in green technologies to produce environmentally friendly packaging and becoming the Circular Economy center that collects used paper for recycling. The company also has good governance, taking into account the stakeholders, focusing on economic growth, and on social development and environment. Both awards represent SCGP’s commitment to helping raise standards and creating sustainable growth in business, society, and the world which makes the company recognizable by Thai and foreign investors. The award ceremony was held on October 28, 2022 at The Stock Exchange of Thailand.
