IPP Sdn Bhd, a member of SCGP has been honored with the “Supplier Excellence Award – APAC Region” under the category of “Contributions in Supply Chain Transformation”. The award was presented by TMS, the global entity that manages Packaging Category Services for McDonald’s. The award recognizes IPP’s outstanding performance among more than 120 McDonald’s supplier partners across the region. TMS manages several key areas including freight, logistics, quality and regulatory compliance, and packaging strategy, and evaluates supplier excellence across McDonald’s global network. IPP distinguished itself through leadership with sustainable packaging solutions across the Asia-Pacific region through its collaboration with TMS. Working with TMS, IPP has made a real impact within the McDonald’s system in enhancing supply chain agility and resilience. With focused efforts in adaptive capacity planning and by leveraging advanced digital technologies to drive process, product as well as inventory optimization to improve efficiency throughout the value chain, IPP has successfully supported with supply chain cost as well as process improvements. These initiatives have played a pivotal role in driving supply chain transformation and operational excellence across the APAC region.
