The collaboration stems from the Memorandum of Understanding between SCGP, the Department of Industrial Works, Thammasat University, and King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang, signed on January 18, 2022, to jointly develop the E-Nose to address odor complaints. Some odors are undetectable by the human nose and may contain chemicals that can affect health. The training was organized to explain the components, operation, and steps of the odor measurement and monitoring system, as well as to establish criteria for controlling odor intensity without affecting the community. The demonstration included instructions on how to use the E-Nose device, along with maintenance methods and equipment inspection. The training provided participants with the knowledge and understanding needed to enhance their skills and apply them effectively in their work.
Following this, SCGP is preparing to deliver the E-Nose device to the Department of Industrial Works for testing in factories that have filed complaints. For more information, please contact Settawut Attapaiboon Phone: 062-4653999 Email: [email protected]
